We're In Love With The Tactical Green Metallic Paint Option On The 2022 Nissan Frontier

There will be nine – count'em, nine – colour options available on the 2022 Nissan Frontier in Canada. And while any good parent knows not to play favourites, the new Tactical Green Metallic is making us weak in the knees.
As we get more information on which colours will be available with which trim levels, we'll provide a full paint colour option template. For now, here's what we can tell you. The 2022 Nissan Frontier's palette includes Glacier White, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Red Alert, Cardinal Red Metallic Tricoat, Deep Blue Pearl, Baja Storm, Boulder Grey Pearl, and Tactical Green Metallic.
Dark greens have been making a comeback in the automotive world thanks to vehicles as varied as the Ford Mustang Bullitt and Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition. "Inspired by tech-savvy backcountry gear," Nissan says, this new Tactical Green Metallic shade pairs spectacularly well with the off-road-ready Frontier PRO-4X.
It's not just the paint, of course. The new Frontier is a highly stylish truck; a design success precisely because Nissan didn't try too hard. The grille isn't jumbo-sized just for the sake of making a statement, for example, nor is the hood full of unnecessary scoops. The 2022 Frontier looks so good because Nissan spent time crafting every element to form a cohesive unit. The first word that comes to mind is chiseled.
The Frontier doesn't use outlandish design elements to make you think it's more powerful – it simply walks the walk with the most powerful engine in the midsize truck segment. (It's a 3.8 liter cranking out 310 horsepower, for the record.)
Nissan's 2022 Frontier is set to be delivered to the first round of customers in September. No matter which colours are chosen, we know truck buyers are going to be thrilled with the new Frontier. But yeah, we do hope some choose Tactical Green Metallic.
